These are called memelas. They are sold at a small outdoor street restaurant called La Encantada, enchanted or loved. It is in San Andres Tuxtla. We, and all the missionaries are encantados by this restaurant and its food for two reasons. It is great and it is cheap. I think they are about 10 or 12 pesos each--less than a dollar. A memela is a very large and thicker tortilla, handmade, and filled with what you want in it. We typically get sliced, diced beef with white cheese and mushrooms and a couple slices of green pepper. One memela will fill everyone but a missionary who will need two. Careful with that salsa. It has a lot of horsepower.

There are often a couple of guys to serenade you. The one with dark glasses is blind. Man, he can really play that little guitar.
