In Martinez de la Torre, and the surrounding region, hundreds of thousands of pounds of citrus is grown. There are all sorts of processing and shipping plants in the city. They ship limes all the way to Japan and Germany and the Costco in Lewiston, Idaho according to Clay and Amy. This truck is loaded with peels from oranges. They are being trucked away from a juicing business. You can see the juice dripping from the back of the dump truck. I don't know where they were headed, but it is very possible that they were on the way to a pig farm. There are some of those a couple of hours away and are exactly where the swine flu pandemic started--right here in the Veracruz Mission!
