Oh man, we hate to see our missionaries go home. But, it is part of the plan of happiness, I suppose. Why, then, are we not so very happy? You have heard about missionaries riding their suitcases, right? Here is evidence. The missionaries who flew out that morning into the great beyond were Elders Godfrey, Bada (Peru), Chamorro(Argentina), Page, Ramirez, Valdez, De la Cruz, Eduardo, García García, Perez Segóvia, and Sisters Martinez and Narciso.

  1. Great posts about your family's visit and the things you were able to go and see. I am sure Mason will have wonderful memories of visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Mexico and seeing first hand what mission life is like. Looks like you had the same challenge we did, trying to balance family time with the on-going beat of missionary responsibilities. Sorry about your tile explosion, but yeah for eating out with all those out-going missionaries instead of cooking. We just finished sending 10 home with honorable releases - with office staff and assistants that added up to 19 total for dinner. We just found out that our first transfer after the missions combine in July will have 20 new missionaries arriving on the same day! Yikes, I am DEFINITELY calling in for back-ups in kitchen duty and bed-changing!
